当店の始まりの場所、それが「八女茶畑」です。
創業大正10年から茶生産者として始まった当店は昔から変わらず茶畑栽培を行なっています。

美味しい八女茶作りの基礎は茶畑にあります。毎年の新茶時期は一年のお茶の味が決まる真剣勝負です。

4月中旬の新茶の茶葉の揃った茶園風景は本当に美しいです。

この新茶の葉が、風に揺られてきらきら光る様子は、当店の一番摘み新茶「きらきら新茶」の商品由来となっております。

黒いシートで収穫の10日前から茶園を覆う事で旨み成分とお茶の緑色を濃くさせます。これにより旨みを感じる美しい緑色の八女茶が出来ます。

当店は茶園を持つ茶生産者でもあり、お茶工場を持つ茶の製造者でもあり、お茶の販売店舗を持つお茶屋でもあります。全国でも数少ない茶畑の茶葉から店舗の八女茶販売に至るまで、すべての工程を責任をもって行なっております。
